Body Speaks

Back in 2012, I was exploring the relationship between the moving body in a digital space, and the body of the viewer in physical space. To paraphrase Oskar Schlemmer, ‘both the body and space have their own laws; which law shall be valid and make itself felt?’ These pieces were an attempt to bring awareness to the space we occupy.

When the below videos were exhibited in galleries, viewers would often mimic the movements seen on screen.
